Monochromatic Touches This is my very first body of work welcoming acrylic on canvas; with each canvas bearing a lengthy process of being treated for accommodating Persian calligraphy strokes. 

Calligraphic expressions are exclusively written using traditional wooden pens while I’ve utilized various materials for creating other effects. What’s mutual between the two is the single continuous stroke that transforms the lines into shapes. Space remains to be a complementary yet fundamental part of my art pieces. It is the visual interjection of “presence” where all my artistic endeavors stem from. 

Monochromatic colors are meant to stripe away distraction even further and create room for emotional atmospheres. The subtle shift in colors invites the viewer to stay in the subtler realms and sense the depth of a single hue and the form of shapes or the poetry of words.
