Jean's Departure

The legendary Jean Houston, mother of Future Human (or Humanity 2.0) made her transition to the other side on May 16, 2026. 

I was lucky to have spent time with her on a three day workshop back in 2020 and it was then that I'd decided I wanted to share the wisdom and richness of Persian calligraphy with others. Jean, though Italian and never having met me and never having studied the language, looked into my eyes and started reciting a Persian poem. Her genius was simply otherworldly.

I’d like to take a moment to cherish her memory and to acknowledge her magnificent awareness and knowledge of the world, of life and after life, of modernity and humanity, and of greatness and glory. 

The richness of her existence was something to honor. Be so rested in peace and love Jean! 🤍
